// About Prothermo
Prothermo Hofmann Ltd. was founded in 1991 as an Austrian-Hungarian joint venture for the manufacture of industrial heat treatment equipment, and is today a fully Hungarian-owned company. Initially focused on ceramic firing and chamber heat treatment systems, the company expanded through product development and technology acquisition to offer competitive solutions across virtually every area of heat treatment. Over the past thirty-five years, we have designed and manufactured more than a thousand systems for the widest range of heat treatment applications — primarily for automotive suppliers and companies carrying out specialised thermal processes, tailored to each customer's individual requirements. With three decades of experience, we offer expert and innovative solutions across the broad field of heat treatment. We also provide regular support and undertake repair, maintenance, refurbishment and modernisation of our own equipment as well as other types of heat treatment systems.
